Louisville, KY, 1st November, 2004, Carbide Industries, LLC, the leading producer of calcium carbide products and acetylene gas is pleased to announce that they have received ISO 9001-2000 registration of its calcium carbide desulfurization products.
Carbide Industries, LLC had solicited the services of NQA (National Quality Assurance, USA) as its registrar. NQA is ANSI-RAB accredited. They were satisfied that Carbide Industries' quality system complied with ISO 9001-2000 requirements and that the company was continuously improving its system. The audit resulted in 2 minor non-conformances and 2 observations. There were no major non-conformances. All findings have been addressed, and a corrective action plan to NQA was not required.
